This extension centers images – like this one – in the browser window. It also adds a nicer background to them. The extension modifies only ”pages” that consist of a single image - and nothing else!

Has your child ever been awakened with the loud “Ta-Daaam!” sound your laptop played when you turned it on at late evening? Have you ever opened notebook at conference, on business meeting or in the public library so the computer loudly notified everybody about your new messages or something? I bet you wanted to smash the computer into smithereens then! Each time this happens to me, I promise myself to turn off the sound before logging off, but I always forget about this in few minutes.

iBackground Scripts

iBackground Scripts is a free and easy to use AppleScript that will make other AppleScripts to run in the background, provided that the script is saved as an ‘application bundle’.

Simply place the script on your Desktop and change the name of it to ‘back.app’. Then launch iBackground Scripts and click the ‘Yes’ button. You can reverse it by clicking the ‘No’ button and it will no longer be a background script.

ScreenSharingMenulet searches for hosts (local or Back to My Mac) which are available via Remote Frame Buffer. Found hosts will be displayed in the menu with name and IP-address (optional). Just select a menu item to connect to the appropriate computer. Add ScreenSharingMenulet to the startup items to keep it permanently in the menu bar.
